The quality was beautiful in their original quicktime format - pants in imovie! The quick and dirty solution i came up with was to trim and edit within quicktime pro which works pretty well. The only thing is the files are so damn huge! If there were a way to edit with imove and compress a little that would be great. I'll try your export tips above...
